PHARMACIST IN CHARGE
Location: Arlington, Texas
The Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) position requires extensive expertise and knowledge of pharmacy operations, as the person in this role provides oversight for all aspects of pharmacy operations in a single location. The PIC complies with all applicable laws, regulations and standards; compounds and dispenses prescribed medications; supervises other pharmacists and pharmacy technicians; and performs related duties as required.
STAFF PHARMACIST
Location: Arlington, Texas
The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for compounding and dispensing prescription medications, providing pharmaceutical information, monitoring customers’ drug therapies to avoid interactions with other medications, and providing pharmaceutical expertise to customers on the safe use of medications. The Staff Pharmacist assists in ensuring the pharmacy is organized in an efficient manner and helps to maintain control over delivering, stocking and labeling of medicines and other products. Under general direction of the Pharmacy Manager, the Staff Pharmacist complies with laws and regulations governing pharmacy operations, and may also provide functional supervision of professional and paraprofessional staff as needed.
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Location: Arlington, Texas
The Pharmacy Technician process and fill prescriptions. The Technician will also get the pharmacy environment ready for business by turning on equipment, such as computers, printers and scales; greet customers; measure and label medication; process payments; help to control inventory and stock shelves; and enter data into a computerized system. The Technician will work directly with a dispensing pharmacist and Operation Manager to provide excellent customer service.
